Cancellation & Refund Policy 

 

Volunteers who wish to withdraw from deployment must notify GGC Volunteers Ltd. in writing via email at volunteering@ggcvolunteers.org.

 

 Cancellations more than 8 weeks prior to your indicated start date:

  • Volunteers receive a refund of their $300 USD deposit

  • Volunteers receive a full refund of paid volunteer fees (minus any transaction fees or differences in exchange rates).

  • GGC Volunteers Ltd. retains $100 USD non-refundable application fee.

 

Cancellations between 8 weeks and 1 week prior to your intended start date:

  • GGC Volunteers Ltd. retains the $100 USD non-refundable application fee.

  • GGC Volunteers Ltd. retains the $300 USD deposit.

  • Volunteers receive a refund of the remainder of paid volunteer fees minus any transaction fees or differences in exchange rates.

 

Cancellations less than 7 days prior to your indicated start date:

  • GGC Volunteers Ltd. reserves the right to withhold the full amount of your deposit and volunteer fee for the period of 24 months to allow you the option of re-booking your volunteer stay with us.

  • Any monies from credit not used after 24 months will be retained by GGC Volunteers Ltd.

  • Any alteration in the length of your volunteer stay or in the event of a price rise, additional fees may be charged.

 

In the rare event GGC Volunteers Ltd or the host country must cancel your volunteer stay through no fault of the volunteer(s), GGC Volunteers Ltd will issue a full refund (including application fee and transfer costs).
