Volunteer's Testimony

Our volunteers come home eager to share their experiences and they are often passionate in their continued support of our Programs.
Here at GGC Volunteers Ltd. we love to hear from our volunteers, and we are so delighted that the kindness you have shown to the children of Vietnam can be celebrated with everyone. Please watch and read and imagine yourselves living these amazing lives!

"During the month of January, I volunteered my services with a program run by CSV in Da Nang, central Vietnam. What I encountered was beyond what I could imagined it would be, and as the individuals involved welcomed me into their lives as if I were family, they left an everlasting impression on me. It is a place I must return to."

"My third day home and I am already missing Vietnam and all the beautiful children and people that I was lucky enough to meet and work with. Such a big thank you to all of the organisations involved including JCU, GGC and CSV whom without, this wonderful experience would not have been possible."

"Whilst I am excited to come home I am also sad for what I am leaving behind.
These children need nothing more of a helping hand and that's something anyone willing to be a volunteer can give. Its hard to say whether I will miss the people of Vietnam, the country or the kids more. Guess It is only a goodbye for now, not forever."

"I'm so happy that CSV and GGC volunteers have the programs they do because every little bit of help makes such a huge difference to so many underprivileged and disabled children. At times it was heartbreaking, but overall a life changing and rewarding experience that I hope everybody gets the chance to experience for themselves."

"My time in Vietnam is up! I've had the most amazing, challenging, random, hectic, heartwarming time! Thankyou so much to everyone involved. You've all made my experience one I'll never forget... So thanks JCU and GGC for giving me this opportunity. I've not regretted a single moment of it! Tam Biet for now Vietnam, you've been fun!"

"I am so grateful to GGC and Jcu for making this possible for us 5 girls...
...I hope many more people have the opportunity, as we did, to experience all of the above and to feel the difference not only in the children lives but in your own! I will miss you Naaaaam!!!!"
