Student Clinical Placement Program

 

GGC Volunteers Ltd offers Student Clinical Placement Programs for University students studying in the areas of Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Nursing. Our Program is based in Da Nang City, with weekly trips to Tam Ky (1.5 hours south of the city).

 

In the orphanages, schools, clinics and facilities serviced by our Vietnamese partner organisation in Da Nang, there are very few trained people to attend to all of the children with disabilities. The presence of Student Clinical Placements brings best practice knowledge and skills to needy facilities with very different cultural and health practices.

• Up to eight paediatric clinical positions available per Placement.

• Use of your own supervisor who receives a substantial discount (for Placements of at least 5 students).

• At limited times of the year a supervisor/clinical educator may be available through GGC Volunteers Ltd.

• Thorough preparation and Risk Analysis provided by GGC Volunteers Ltd.

• Provision of a structured and proven clinical placement program that easily encompasses all University needs.

 

GGC Volunteers Ltd works closely with each University to ensure all aspects of curriculum, degree requirements, safety and logistics are thoroughly attended to.
