You can apply as a volunteer for any of our Vietnam Programs right now, it’s so easy! Just click here for your online application form.

 

To complete your online application successfully please ensure you can provide the following information:

 

• Personal contact details

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Résumé

• Dietary needs

• Emergency contact details

• Dates you wish to volunteer

 

It is mandatory for all volunteers to undergo a police background check from your country (such as an Australian National Police Check). This to provide us with evidence that you do not have police convictions. The cost for this is not included in the application fee and it is your responsibility to apply for and obtain this record.

 

Volunteers are able to apply for any Vietnam Program prior to obtaining the police check. It is, however, expected that volunteers or students will provide GGC Volunteers Ltd with proof of the check by scanning the document to us as soon as possible after your successful application. You must bring the original document with you to the host country. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the deployment with no refund issued.

 

As part of your preparation we will be asking you for a copies of the front page of your passport, which must have at least 6 months validity, and your tourist visa covering the dates of your volunteer experience. It is also mandatory to take out travel insurance that includes medical evacuation and volunteer work.

 

For each of our Programs there is an initial non-refundable $100 USD application fee. This will start you on your volunteering path and allow us to begin preparing you to become a great volunteer! 

 

Once you have submitted your application online, your skills and experience will be individually assessed by GGC Volunteers Ltd and within 5-10 business days we will get back to you to let you know the success of your application.

 

GGC Volunteers Ltd will contact you directly via email, informing you of our decision; so keep watching your emails (check your ‘junk’ mail as well!).

 

We will be assigning you an experienced and knowledgeable volunteer coordinator who will support you through your entire application and preparation process.
