Vietnam School Immersions are an excellent way to give your students an experience like no other. Not only do the individual students benefit but also their peers, parents, school and community. It is a great way for students to step outside of their comfort zone, developing in areas of leadership, confidence, teamwork, resilience, strength of character, humanitarian feelings and actions, respect for other cultures, role model behaviour and an appreciation and understanding of those less fortunate.

 

We opperate these immersions within a safe and supportive environment, providing the perfect opportunity to foster personal growth and development of those attributes that will ultimately result in strong school leadership and a sense of accomplishment and pride in their actions.

 

The students will have the opportunity to reflect on the experience before, during and after the immersion and to share all phases of their journey with their peers, parents and teachers. This  allows it to not only benefit the student but also the school and community.

The Vietnam School Immersion Experience

GGC Volunteers Ltd. is proud to support impoverished and needy facilities in our children’s program in Da Nang, Vietnam. We only use facilities that we have visited and worked in personally.

 

Your wonderful Vietnamese hosts will also make sure your will have opportunities to become fully immersed in cultural and travel experiences that will make excellent global citizens of your young men and/or women.

 

Schedule

Our schedule changes according to the areas in greatest need of our help. Facilities provide us with infrastructure tasks that are matched to the interest and abilities of your school. These activities are combined with daily opportunities to participate in other useful activities such as teaching conversational English to the children.

 

Common tasks include building vegetable gardens to support and improve the nutrition of the children and staff, internal and external painting tasks and care and socialization for infants in orphanages.

 

Costs

 

The costs for each School group is determined individually depending on the requirements of the facility, number of Participants and schedule offered.

We tailor your quotation to include actual costs of the Program to the Participant (Program fees), or to the Facility depending on your specifications. We also include estimations of additional costs to each participant for requirements and services not included in Program fees.
